How do I order?
Browse the shop, add what you'd like to your tray, and tap "Send order on WhatsApp." Your message will arrive at the workshop pre-filled with the SKUs and prices. Archana, or someone in the family, will confirm availability and share UPI details for payment.
What is the shelf life?
Soaps: 12 months from manufacture, kept on a dry shelf away from direct sunlight. Hair oil: 12 months, stored in a cool, dark place. Each box has a hand-stamped batch and made-on date.
How should I store the soap?
On a dry soap dish, away from a constantly wet basin. A bar lasts twice as long when it dries fully between uses. Bathroom shelf is fine, refrigeration is not needed.
Are the soaps suitable for sensitive skin?
Most are. They contain no synthetic fragrances, no parabens, no SLS, no synthetic colours, no mineral oil, no palm oil. For very sensitive skin, Archana recommends the Goat Milk Tan Soap or the Honey Soap. Always patch-test on the inside of the elbow for 24 hours first.
How much does each bar weigh?
Standard adult soap bars are approximately 100 g (some bars are smaller, see the product page for exact weight). Kids' animal soaps are around 50 g each. The hair oil bottle is 100 ml.
How many bars do you make in a week?
Archana presses around 100 bars a week, by hand, in her workshop in Lucknow. The number is deliberate. When demand is high, batches do sell out. The workshop will let you know on WhatsApp when the next batch is ready.
Do you ship across India?
Yes, and worldwide. Within Lucknow the workshop delivers in person or by local courier within 24 to 48 hours. Across India, trusted couriers deliver within 3 to 7 working days. International orders ship via DHL or India Post tracked, usually 7 to 14 days. Tracking is shared on WhatsApp once dispatched.
How do I pay?
Inside India: UPI is preferred (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm). The UPI ID is shared on WhatsApp once the order is confirmed. Bank transfer is also fine. International orders: bank transfer or Wise. Cards are not processed directly.
Do you offer returns?
If anything arrives broken or wrong, send a photo on WhatsApp within 48 hours and the workshop will replace it. Used products cannot be returned for change of mind, but tell the workshop if a bar did not agree with your skin. The workshop learns from it.
Can I order a custom blend?
For repeat customers and friends of the workshop, yes. Archana has made custom blends for sensitive skin, eczema, and gifting. Message on WhatsApp with what you need.
Are these "Ayurvedic" or "natural"?
Every product in the house is fully natural and Ayurvedic-inspired. None of them are certified Ayurvedic medicines and none of them claim to cure conditions. Think of them as the way a grandmother might have made soap, with the best of what she had on her shelf.
